I think Tzoya posted somewhere that parents can choose whenterh their kids saty with EI services or have to go to Pre K - could someone find the post for me

One of my freinds whose kids has Downs is really seeking the answer to this one - She does not like the Pre K her son goes too and I remembered Tzoya you mentioning here that you do not HAVE to graduate from EI if you dont want to

Tzoya will have the definitive answer, but YES YES YES! I was studying IDEA 2004 a couple of years ago and there is definitely a provision in there for this. I actually know a couple of people who have done this...I just don't know how they did it.

Thanks so much -  Right now I am jammed, so I can't look up the exact rules, but they are new and you can probably read more about them at www.wrightslaw.com by googling EI there.  Or search my old posts here because one might contain the citation.  If I come across the part of IDEA 2004 that cites that, I'll post it, but I just can't look it up right now.
