SSI/medicaid Do you guys have a program called Katie Beckett? This program dosnt take your income in affect only your  child's  income.  Well, considering I make significantly less then that as a single mom, plus have 3 kids, I have to agree with you!  I was turned down for SSI as well, and I'm barely BARELY getting by. My autistic child does have medicaid through the waiver program, which does not consider any money. Daniel denied 2 times. Dad's salary is to high they say. 41,600 is 2 high with 1 special needs kid. Bull if you ask us.
