Welcome to the forum. I have a 9 year old boy with atypical autism (PDD-NOS).
Here's a link to a topic on our forum with online resources to locate various experts and local services. You may want to consider hiring an advocate or special education lawyer to help you get a better IEP and placement (I'm assuming PPT stands for Planning and Placement Team).

Hello,just found this website earlier today.My son Jr. is 8 and diagnosed PDD/NOS a year ago.We are searching for help.We live in Connecticut but hes ina Hospital in New Hampshire.They are equipped to deal with Developmental Disabilities,but we want him home.I am at my wits end with PPT's and IEp's that are not getting my son home.Any advice is greatly appreciated.I must add that I think this site is AWESOME! I am still learning about my sons diagnosis and this is a helpfull place.Hi, I joined this site a month ago and have learned more here in the last month from the people on the forum than i have in the last year talking to OT's speech therapists and my sons teacher. I know they have all helped him make progress in the last year, but getting info out of them is like pulling teeth so , welcome to a great place with alot of great caring and knowledgable people
