Hello there -
I just got some test results back for my 36month ds speech and occupational evaluation.
the therapist used HELP for speech and scored him at 24-27 month expressive and 20-24 month receptive. Also, used peabody for occupational with a 82 overall score. Has anyone had similar scores with their kids and if so have you seen improvement with therapies?
ALso, had meeting with school district. DS has to go for a formal eval next week but off the record they told me with these scores he will definitely qualify.
Just wondering anyones opinion on this - is this a significant delay??
I seriously do not remember T's scores on those at that age, and do not remember how to interpret those. But ... virtually ALL ASD kids improve. School sounds like they consider it a sign. delay.
Hopefully someone who knows more will respond ...
