Where do I go to get an independent education evaluation?

Ive searched online and I found a really good website with sample letters to write to the school/principle that you want one and about getting them at testing centers. Where do I find one or find someone to have it done?

we had another opinion but we stii don't agree with the results. If your child is ALREADY classified into special education, you can get an Independent Educational Evaluation AFTER the school district has evaluated a particular area and you disagree with their evaluation.  THEY must pay for the IEE (capital letters). That is, they must pay for your to get a second opinion using an evaluator of your choice (some restrictions apply, based on state regs).  You can ALWAYS get an independent educational evaluation (lower case) meaning YOU pay for it and present it at the IEP Meeting.  To learn more, go to www.wrightslaw.com and search Independent Educational Evaluation or IEE.Ok I understand. Thanks for the link
