Hi everyone. My name is Annamaria and I have twin 8 year old boys. One is HFA and the other is lower functioning autism. When my children are in school I try to earn extra income by designing Autism Chewy tubes. I've read similar stories about Chewy's helping one's child out be diverting their attention to chewing on Chewy instead of on their shirt. I spefically designed Pennies4KidsProducts so that somehow I could miraculously help my son. He was putting outside grass and other nonedibles in his mouth when at home. AND at school playground staff didn't care when he put rock pebbles in the mouth. I decided I had to do something, so immediately my first design was a Chewy tube. The vibrant purple color was the first color choice my son decided he wanted to wear attached to his shirt buttonhole when he would go to school. Within a few weeks my son was no longer biting staff and no more pebbles in the mouth thank goodness. If you would like to help your child I encourage you to ask me about the Chewy tubes.
Everyday is a wonder for my boys. Nothing's more exciting that seeing the small milestones they reach more and more each day. It took a long time for me to learn to accept the things I cannot change, so no longer do I expect my sons' to accomplish everything in 'leaps and bounds.'
