i have a question for you.. We just got approved for state funded insurance so we are really happy about that. What are the chances that we would get approved for SSI? We could really use it! I will be totally honest that we are a family of 4 with one income of 42,000.. Is that way to high?

i think it varies by state but not sure. it varies by number of children. if you qualify for of ssi you get medical. hope this helps. check out ssi.gov for wage amounts.
