please help with food | Autism PDD

Hello, I'm new here, so this may have been answered, if so could you please point the way?

Okay, my son Michael is high functioning, still in regular classes in 2nd grade, with ST and OT outside of class.  My question is where do I start?  I'm not sure what symptoms to look for what to ask?  The doctor says that even though he's skinny he's normal.  Not to worry.  but I can wrap my hand around his thigh...that can't be okay.

And he only eats a few things.  grilled cheese, fries, french toast, bananas, honey buns and ...well that's about it.  that can't be normal. Over the summer he quit eating chicken nuggets.  And even when I offer new food, before he's even touched it, he starts to gag.  I don't know where to go or who to talk to.  There's nothing and no one in my area.

please, any advice or help would be greatly appreciated!  Thank you, Gillian

I would add powdered phyto/glyco it the foods. Me/kids are both skinny and eat lots of healthy stuff. We learned with Daniel it's cause he has a big tongue is why he gags also with some stuff.
