Question on SE teacher | Autism PDD

Hi

they all have to know and understand about his diagnosis

on the off chance they have not

make an appointment with the head the teacher and the temp

write everything down that you think he needs and will benefit from

make it clear what his needs are.

I would talk to the school and find out what kind of experience does this
aide have and if you do not like what they say tell them your child desirves a
well quilified person in the room. GOOD LUCK!

Right.   But why does my child have an IEP which states a CTT class which is a class w/ a SE teacher and no SE teacher is there?

Is this even legal?

Hi all.  MY child has been in school for a few weeks in a Collab Team TEaching (ctt) class which was supposed to have one General Ed teacher and One Special Ed teacher.

The Special Ed teacher is out due to some 'surgery' and won't be in until November so the school (public, 1st grade) has given our class an 'aid'.   Not a SE teacher at all.

WWYD?

I would think they would have to if the IEP says so but I am not sure. You can
call the head of special services and ask for an answer. Let me knnow how
that goes. If you don't feel like it is right make them change it. The school
systems make us fight for everything.
