I just found this forum and it looks good. I have a high school son with PDD-NOS. Maybe I can help answer some questions, and I may have some myself. Hi and welcome to the board! I look forward to your input. Post often.

Welcome, you will eventually feel right at home here and the other parents here are very wonderful at offering moral support, answers to many question and even leading you in the direction to find the info that you need.
Welcome.
A good thing to know is that you can use the search function here to find posts on any number of topics. This can give you a headstart on answers, even before you need to post any. Worth checking out.
Thanks for the welcome. My son was "iffy" until he was six. He is very verbal and more social then some on the spectrum. His struggles are with academics and life skills, and a narrow field of interests.welcome ,how old was your son when dx,d ,what are his main strengths ,weaknesses ect...

Mia, my son is almost 13 and seems to struggle with the same things. How has high school been for him? Is he in mostly self contained classes, or is he mainstreamed. My son is just about to get on the bus for his first day at middle school. It is in the high school and I am worried for him. He is in two self contained classes, and in a guided study hall.
He struggles really alot with everday life skills, ex: taking care of himself, putting laundry away, cleaning, dishes etc.
