oh u bad violator u!!!!

I have been banned from the Health Boards Autism message board! That
is hands down the worst message board around. They have the most
ridiculous rules I've ever seen. You can't post websites. Can't exchange
email address. For the life of me, I can't figure out what I did. I replied to
a poster who had given out her email address. I did not say I would
contact her, and did not give out my email address. The moderator
reprimanded us both, and said contact is not allowed between posters. I
commented that I had not contacted nor given out information to anyone,
and therefore was not violating any rules, and now I am banned! And
they think they are being helpful? What a crock!

Well, at least they are good for some comic relief! I can't wait to hear
their explanation. They are looking it up now. Here's the reason:

"Posting on the boards about moderator decisions which includes
> editings/bans/deletions may cause loss of posting privileges. Post
comments
> or questions to moderators ONLY on the Registration/Membership
Board, or
> email the Administrator.

So my statement that I had not violated the rules was apparently a
violation of the rules!Wow, a group of outlaws.  this could be like a gang or something.

Bad Karen!

Thanks for the laugh!  Holly

Thank you for directing this thread to it's proper place. Oh the irony!
Reprimanded once again for complaining about being reprinded! LOL lol i was driven off that board too. not by moderators, but by the posters themselves! and all for expressing my opinion on the cause of autism. i wasnt mean about it, i basically said something like "i dont believe mercury caused my daughter's autism" and OMG you'd think i just kicked their puppy or something!!! apparently NONE of them agreed with me, therefore i was a BAD BAD BAD BAD mother and a RUDE, DISGUSTING person!

thats when i came here! and i love it!!!!!

I always got a very bad vibe from their posters. Basically, I was ignored
most of the time. I even had one poster tell me that my opinion didn't
really matter because I have a very high functioning kid and therefore
don't really understand autisim. True, I don't experience the day to day
struggles that many of you go through, but that shouldn't exclude me,
and I bring a lot to the table in other areas, such as navigating through
the education system, dealing with anxiety disorders, etc. They always
made it feel like a contest: Who has it the worst. I shall wear my
banishment proudly! I went to Health Boards Autism message board when my son was diagnosed, looking for help. They made me feel like it was my fault that our son was Autistic because we are military and chose at the time to live overseas. It's the Army's fault I was told.
