Let us know how it goes. Give it the first reportcard period. This is going to be a BIG transition. Good luck.
Billy, good luck in your new school and I hope you make lots of friends and enjoy yourself.
Kath, I know exactly what you mean about being so horribly anxious. Skylar just started school on Aug. 27th and I was absolutely terrified. Its been a week now and he LOVES school, his teacher, his aides (all three) but one in particular that is also is aide on the school bus. I have not seen my baby boy this happy in a very long time. For this past week, he got perfect conduct, no potty accidents, no time-outs etc. He is doing WONDERFUL!
You BOTH will do just fine. We are here for you and please keep us posted on how it goes.
GOOD LUCK!
Goodluck to Billy. He might be more ready than you think. And mom relax, easier said than done, I know but usually we worry more than the kids and it is usually not as hard on them as we anticipate. All will be well.

Wishing you an awesome school year. Please post how it goes.I wish him the best of luck and I hope he really enjoys the school.
Sorry it has been so long. I have been busy with my boys. We also went on vacation, which was great...the boys had a really good time. I wanted to ask you all to wish Billy and I luck. He will be starting a new school on Sept. 6. It is an autism program. I really hope he does well. I am not sure who is more anxious about it, me or him. I really want him to be happy and love it. We met his teacher and she seems very nice. He will have a 1-1 aide, and there are only 4 kids in his class. I am so scared about how he will react to this. I have homeschooled him for a year and a half. He is 9 and has never gone to school a full day or a full year.
