I am so happy for your girl..I love her spunky "tude!"
Sarah could care less..not suspicious enough. Crossing fingers here that she does well with "real" school next week:)
WEll, DH went to open house last night (while I stayed home with the monsters)
T's SLP said "she is like a different person this year!" We had already heard this from her classroom teacher, who had subbed wit hher last yr a few times ...
He met ALL of her teachers, SpEd, Social Skills, even PE! The works. He felt very pleased and comfortable with them. The SS teacher does PLAYGROUND, too!
Well, since T was in bed when he got home, he told her this morning, "I met all your teachers, last night!" Keeping it sounding light and chummy, as it was. She immediately became SUSPICIOUS, "WHY DID YOU DO THAT?"
Anticipating her 'tude, Dad had given ALL of the teachers BOTH our emails, and told them how she had said last year, "Daddy, if you need Mrs. J. to know anything, you GO THROUGH ME!" Some of them seemed surprised that she was that manipulative ... probably the same ones SHE has snowed!
Next week is the big acceleration, review time is over, and she is going to have weekly SPELLING TESTS.
We shall see how she acts, then.
