Sounds like you are all set. I'm assuming you have all your milestones &
stuff written down? Also, I find it helpful write/type a list of questions or
concerns before the appt. I make 2 copies--hand one to doc & keep one.
This way, I won't forget any of my questions (or sometimes, even, something
I'm embarrassed to ask) & I get the answers I need. Be sure to take notes if
possible. Keep us posted. Hope all goes well.oh..milestones! thanks, I knew I was forgetting something!
Hi Everyone,
We have an appointment on Thursday and I want to know what kind of information would be helpful for me to bring.
we already filled out the family history, medical release and printed pictures of him 6 months apart.
Do my dh and dd need to come, she is very distracting and we decided dh would stay home with her.
ds has microcephaly, 4 standard deviations below mean and the dev ped believes there may be a link to this and autism in his case. He was also diagnosed pre natally which I have been told is rare. His head is growing on his own curve, not a sudden decrease in circumference.
Also it's hard to tell if his troubles, like transferring skills, are autism or microcephaly caused.
Thanks for sharing.
