Test yourself, interesting | Autism PDD

This looks the same as the previous one I took.  I got a 27.  I was actually a bit surprised.  I thought dh would score about that (which he did at a 26). I didn't think I would be as high though.

I guess I just thought everybody was like me.
39.

i scored 9

Hmmm I felt  I have a few ASD traits - guess not

I scored a 5 but I think my hubby will be much higherI got a 23 seems ok to me..

I get 42, it's a bit of fun and can show if there are signs, but don't rely on it as a formal diagnosis.

Interestingly the majority of people get about 17 points, showing that everyone has some traits. Those who are often diagnosed as being on the spectrum get 32 or above. So there is a subset of people getting 18 - 31 who might be said to be different than the majority of NTs, but who don't come onto the spectrum.

I also thought I had a few traits and scored a 9

I don't believe in these kind of tests since the wording of each question is rather ambiguous. I could see myself answering a question differently if it were phrased differently.

That being said, I scored 26. I've always sucked at social situations, but I attirubute it to the fact that I was an only child of a single mother and I would often come home to a house where the TV was the only company I had. AFAIK there are no Aspies or ASD people in either side of my family.

34 too.

Can't be that high. I know i had some issues, but...

I took it again, 35. HmmmI scored a 34 I scored a 13. I can read body lang better than most people. lol But if they tell me something different than their body lang. Usually means mixed feelings.  But I just go by what they tell me unless there known for pulling fast ones like car sales men and fundies.
amberwaves39321.8059259259I have got 10DH scores 38, he is currently starting the formal dx journey. DH scored a 36, and I scored a 19. Pretty much what I figured.I scored 13! but i would love to get my husband to do this test it would be interesting to see what he scored! (he has alot of the same traits as my son)I scored a 5!! I never thought I had any form of autism, but am still just
shocked at how low I scored.
Guess I'm just weird! Here we go again....

I got a 38 this time. This is the exact same set of questions I scored 33 on last time. But I don't remember my answers to them from the first time so I'm not sure why the big difference.

I scored 25 on this.

I scored a 20 on this. I scored a 38.  I kinda figured it'd be high.  Every other test I've done along these same lines say I more than likely have HFA/AS.  I can't tell anyone about this stuff though.  One critic in my family said, "It's so easy to skew the answers on those tests."  One said, "If you think you have it...get evaluated."  Yeah like how easy is it to get an evaluation for high functioning autism for a 31 year old adult?  Who would you contact?  People would laugh me out of a dr's office.  I've been laughed at enough in my life, to subject myself to something like that.  I know I'm more than likely on the spectrum.Got a 33. I had 5 people call me Sat. drove me nuts!I got a text message, call on my cell, and the regualr phone rang...all within a minute of each other.  I had to stop and refocus.  I actually started shaking lol.  This happened about a week ago.  When I make an important phone call, I have to have a list in front of me with all of the information on it that I want to cover.  It seems that when the other person picks up the phone my mind will freeze up.  Having that list in front of me keeps me focused and I'm able to handle my business.  I have to call the state medicaid office today and find out why Brendon's diaper prescription was denied.  I'm dreading that call.   When I'm talking to a family member it's easier.  I let them lead the conversation and just try to answer appropriately.  When it's my turn to talk...I freeze up lol.

Rhosyn,   I sort of feel the same way.  The only person i would tell and have told is my husband  and he has told me he feels he's on the spectrum.   Knowing the questions I think he would score 40 or higher.

Its interesting though,  I'm 39 yo and there have been times in my life when i was much more sociable and had an easier time " getting by" socially.  lately though,  I'm finding it very difficult to "fit in" with my peers, Unless they are very close to me and i see them often.

Back to school night was really hard last year,  the teacher allowed about an hour for parents to talk and share resources,  My husband and i had a hard time doing this.   I'm hoping this year will be easier,  i'm going to make an effort to make conversation with other parents.

Anyway I'm sorry that people have laughed at you for any reason!!  that is not right.  Just know that no one here would ever laugh at you for how you think or feel.

Hope you have a good day
