I'm sorry that you have to go through this. I know how hard it can be dealing with my ex when it comes to Quinn. It seems to me that Robert should be given a chance to work. Could he get his benfits back in the future in the event that he needs them?Hi,
I need help with my almost x husband and normal son about Robert who will graduate on Thursday from the training program. They were aganist Robert going to the training program and now they are against him working. Why you many ask as he'll lose his social security benefits. Yes, there is programs that social security has that this doesn't happen right away but it'll eventually. Of course they've decided in their heads no matter what Robert will last in this job 2 years. So, they're on my back and won't listen to me.
I haven't spoken to the almost x but I did speak to my son. He didn't start about Robert this time.
Also, Robert dad is taking him to the specialist for his diabetes on the Sept. 12. That was another thing that they were on me about. As I didn't know Robert's diabetes was out of wack and his medicine was costing him out of pocket 0. So, he wasn't eating right at home. But according to the doctor at voch rehab sometimes that happens. He feels that Robert will put on insulin full time. No matter what he does this will be the only way to control the diabetes. My almost X should know this as his dad had diabetes. At least he's taking Robert to the doctor. It's about time he does something for his son.
Thanks for listening.
The big bad woolf
Autism plus diabetes sounds like a tough combination. My brother has diabetes (juvenile onset), and I know it's hard to manage because kids are growing, metabolism changes, activity-level changes, etc.
