What Makes me Smile. Is when I see a child I who use to attend the same preschool where I work who has ASD and sits calmly at a table with his family at a Local cafe eating a Banana Split and drinking a milkshake.
Dolphin-Sweet(Dee) Special Aid to Lukey 4 year old ASD a wonderful little boy who makes me smile every time i see him.
i smiled (and exploded with happiness and pride inside) when my
daughter's preschool teacher showed me pictures of my daughter sitting
at a table with kindergarteners, doing art projects. all the kids were
comfortable with each other and she just "fit" with them. my daughter
is usually the outsider, but to see her fit in with these kids just
tugged at my heart strings.
