Very  interesting
WIsh I had read this article when R was 1
http://www.kennedykrieger.org/kki_news.jsp?pid=6521

An INTRIGUING FINDING which merits our attention !!!

Yet, of course, there may still be a margin of error due to the small sample size in this research. 107 for those at high-risk for ASD(siblings of children with autism) and 18 from low-risk ASD(no family history).

It would be interesting to see the percentage of the 107 high risk kids that eventually had the final diagnosis of ASD at 30 or 36 months... assuming there were none from the 18 low risk kids.

I guess the only way would be to study the findings published in the Archives of General Psychiatry journal.

Still 50% success rate of an ASD diagnosis made at 14 months.... makes an interesting food for our rumination....

THANKS Tzoya !! I'm starting to think Nina could probably be dx now if the right person saw
her.
