My daughter has a mild form autism. She is behind in everything, but the one thing she does is lie a lot and manipulate people. Anyone else child does this?

From what I know of autism..lying is very complex & abstact so if she can do this I am assuming she is very high functioning:) The manupulating is very common..they like control and will go to the ends of the world to get it..the trick is to find what rewards they will work for and be more compliant and consequences that they hate:)
ABA does wonders for behaviors..some HFA kids go to counseling to help express themselves better and deal with their feelings.. and find more appropriate ways to control their environment. Good luck
Tiffany is vey high function she is main stream at school and only gets pulled out for math.
