I start looking around for Christmas toys in Aug. I have no idea this year. The thing is none of my kids play with there toys the right way. My daughter 6 yrs old does play with her barbie house but I showed her how. She does like video games wii, play doh. My son is 2 and likes to throw his toys.
Any toys your kids like? Any ideas for 2 yr old boy and 6 yr old girl.

Mason is the same way...doesn't really play with toys too much...I am getting him that giga ball (I think that's what it's called, lol) that Shelley posted about for her daughter. I also found this board that uses plastic screws and a power screwdriver--you put the picture board down and match the colored screws to make a picture. Mason loves tools, and is always trying to take the heating vent covers off in my house, so I thought this might help that urge, lol. Other than that, I'm at a loss for him...I know I can always go the route of video/computer games which he loves, but I just wish I could find toys that he really loves to play with!
ETA: I too have to start now, with 4 kids I need that much time just to get it all done...not too mention it's much less stressful on the pocket book this way!
