sleepy time tea | Autism PDD

This another good sleep tea at night. I use honey it when can't sleep. Try a lavender/chaomile warm bath nightly. You can get a lavender spray at bath and body works/ Spray it on your bed linens.

Sounds delicious!  Be careful with the chamomile, though:  it's in the ragweed family and can cause allergies if used too often.

Here's a list of some more good sedative/relaxant herbs:

*Valerian root

*Sage

*Lavender

*Cinnamon

*Vanilla

*Sarsaparilla

*Orange blossom

*Lemon balm (anti-viral, too!)

*Marjoram

*Sandalwood

*Lemongrass

*Jasmine

I make handblended gourmet teas, and my best seller was the "Twilight Dream" blend:  a mixture of valerian, green tea, lavender flowers, vanilla, cinnamon bark, chamomile, Korean ginseng, and jasmine.  Tea is the greatest!  Mmmmm...
