Hi Allegra,

I hope little Nina is feeling better!!  I was wondering how things are going with Sharlets' bathtime routine.

I hope it's gotten better!!

Hi nakama,

Nina is doing great, she hasn't needed ventalin for days now :)
Sharlet however has made no improvements in the bathing area
I am working with her autism consultant on a very slow process of water play that aims to eventually have her stand in a dish of water for a sponge bath in the kitchen.
We are at the stage where she will play with toys in a tiny amount of water in a small dish, we will be slowly increasing the size of the dish and the depth of the water week by week.  Sharlet's OT said this is the worst case of bath phobia she has seen
ant that Sharlet has been one of her most challenging cases ever...
Anyway, thanks so much for thinking of us and I will keep you posted.
How is things with you?

Allegra

I am so glad Nina is breathing much better..I was so hoping that Sharlet's new med would be working for her now in this area..I am glad they know what to do..it looks like a long road ahead but as long as she is improving that is great:)  Sarah did better when watching other kids do things first and then she would want to do it..of course this was when she was already closer to 6 years old:) You are a wonderful mama and lots of patience..slow and steady wins the race:)

Best of luck and please keep us updated:)
