NBC News Video - Autism Camp | Autism PDD

Vey cool. I hardly ever see a mix of kids like that represented on the news.
Nice story!

My son is going to a special daycamp just for mild to moderate asd-ers. It's
awewsome--out in a real campy rustic setting, they have 2:1 or 3:1
counselors, special needs swimming lessons, sports, music, obstacle
courses and a big bounce house. It's so cool how much he has
accomplished in just a few sessions. Overcame his mortal fear of bounce
houses, went in the pool (held on to the teacher for dear life, but went in!!!)
He's wearing his backpack(something he's never done) I wish there could be
camps like this everywhere, for all kids on the spectrum.

Great video.  If this much progress was made at camp, just think what could happen if the kids got that quality of service every day of the year....

This was posted in the thread "Songs for Autistic Children."  I thought I'd post it separately so it doesn't get overlooked.
