Sleeping in the Dark | Autism PDD

Thanks everyone!!! All these replies are making me smile, what good group
of parents here.   I am glad I joined!My Son wanted to sleep in the dark for the first time since he got his bed.   
He has always slept with the light on in the corner.   One day we got him a
night light that you can plug in, gives off a bit of light but for the most part
the room is dark.

Well tonight all on his own he says, Mommy I want to sleep in the dark. We
plug in the night light and it's 11:49pm and he just called for me. I went in
there expecting for him to say he want's the light back on but called for me
to come him and give him a kiss and a pat and now he is back sleeping.

I feel like he is so grown up now...LOLThat kind of thing just makes me want to cry--I'm such a sap for those 'big
boy" moments. These little things are just so important.
