Thank you Proud of Myself for the inspiring message!!!

[I have some advice and some success stories for you all.]

When I was about three years old, I turned into something I wasn't. Ten years ago, I used to scream instead of talk, I've had echolalia, and many social difficulties. As time went on I started improving the difficulties. Not all of my memories are bad. I've had some good. It's comparing it to a Cancer patient in Remission. I'm reanimating my life. I very rarely have emotional outbursts, problem solving has improved, social skills are excellent compared to an ASD child. One piece of advice I'd like to give is: No matter what condition you're facing, never give up. And you can do whatever you set your mind to, even if you have a label. No matter who you came from, or what everyone thinks of you as...you can be whatever you've wanted to be.

I think it's a little bit psychedelic. Hopefully not too much. Some people don't realize it. A lot of people would assume, "Well, this child has Autism, it will not get through life." It's dumb actually. Apparently, we need to raise awareness. Once people like that understand, it'll be miracle to a bunch of children, especially Asperger's. It's hard sometimes. It's also apocalypse to have another parent call another to say your child is being bullied by this teacher, when you think they're overreacting. That's my problem, "Education." A lot of the time, you will have battles with the school board to get high-functioining Autistic children that can be in regular classroom setting.

I had a hard time reading it.

Thanks & I totally 100% agree!!

Thank you for your inspiring message....it gives me lots of hope for Quinn's future
thanks!  very encouraging.!!!

I found out on Monday that my 9.5 daughter is high functioning.  I have a quick lesson in how little people know and unfortunately don't understand.

I would really know what your goals are?

With your unique characteristics, what do want to do with your life.  Are their things that make you want to be in the future?

Thanks!!!!

you are truly an inspiration to so many. Have you ever thought of group speaking at a symposium or educational gathering? I think you would shed some light into alot of dark places. However I realize groups may not be for you. You need to mthink about it. Maybe empower it to your benefit and they bask you questions, after all you are the expert!!!
