That's wonderful!!! YAY! That is great!SO happy for you this is awesome I love all the new successes!! Keep them coming!!

I wanted to share to give you all hope that these developmental spurts DO happen. Iv noticed in my DS his behaviour and speech usually get WORSE before a big developmental growth, his stuttering gets worse too. Then bam, a few months later he just takes off. His dev. growth has been so phenominal I would only consider him to be mildly autistic instead of moderately autisitc at this time last year. Yeehaw! So hang in there, the developmental spurts we all live for are coming!!!!

HOORAY!! THAT IS AWESOME!

GO, COMER!  Keep up the GREAT work!

I wish T were more interested in reading.  She is so visual, I feel it should really help her! (I know research shows APDs can affect even the processing of visual language, though).

that is awesome....Great job!!

That's excellent!  Wonderful! I always love those spurts!awesome!  DD just starting stuttering and having difficulty sometimes searching for words so I hope this a sign that a language burst or something will happen.    You guys are so wonderful!!! I knew you would be cheering us on, brings tears to my eyes. When you tell other parents they look at you like "wow, ok, thats neat" They dont understand the joy it bring to us parents whose children are on the spectrum.

Actually just now I heard my son scream from the basement (he's doing private IBI) and I heard, "Ahhhhh, I can't do anything!" - he was frustrated with a puzzle.

It's ahppened before that under great distress words come out! When he was 3/4 years old, he did something, I can't remember and I was angry ans he covered his ears and said, "but I didn't do anything wrong!"

Has anyone come across this?

That is so wonderful

Linda
