Hi Everyone,
My 31 month old son was just diagnosed with ASD. He will be three in January and I was told to contact our school system to get him started ASAP. I also am searching for a developmental pediatrician. I live in Northern New Jersey. Can anyone recommend a doctor? Also, the public school system in my area is pretty horrible and I dread having to send my son there for pre-school. Any suggestions?
I have been reading so much on autism spectrum disorders. My son tests at about a 12-15month level, but his gross motor skills are age appropriate. I am looking to talk with someone who has a child similar to mine. Logan is funny, silly, affectionate, loves to dance and sing, and run and jump. If anyone would like to talk, please email me.
