Do you know if your child has any yeast issues...if he or she does, GFCF is an excellent idea...I didn't see any issues with my now 10 yr old either and now that he is off gluten, he complains that his stomache used to hurt...I think eating gluten and casein numbed the pain...maybe you want to try some enzymes...I think that a majority of ASD kids have digestion problems...there is a test from Great Plains Lab: Gluten/Casein Peptides...it will tell you if your child has opiates going to the brain...my 4 yr old has very high casein and my 10 yr old has more of a gluten issue!!!
I've seen a lot of post re: GF/CF diets. Is it good for all children on the spectrum to try this diet even though they may not have diarhhea(sp?) or clear & "visible" allergies?
