Introduction | Autism PDD

Welcome!
This is a wonderful board for support and information. I have four year
old twins and a 7 year old on the spectrum. And yes -never a boring day.
My kids are all very different from each other and I constantly struggle to
meet all their needs while keeping in mind that their needs are different.
Most of the time I feel like I am doing okay though school issues have
been a big one in the last year.
My seven year old is not so much a runner (used to be though)but he
tends to be inappropriatly friendly with strangers. We are working on it
but stranger anxiety does is not intuative to him.
Anyway, looking forward to hearing from you.

hi, glad you could join in.

My dc are 19, 15, 13, 4.

ADD, SID, anxiety, dyslexia, autism and overcomers. WELCOME to the board. I have two boys my oldest is 16 with ADHD, and my youngest is 12 with  Asperger's.

Hi all,

I am new to this board, but not new to Autism/PDD. I have twin 9 year olds, 1 with AD/HD and Sensory Integration Dysfunction, and 1 with high-functioning Autism. Every day seems to be a new adventure. Robby(autism) has a hard time with waiting, and staying near us in public. This is a great improvement from just a couple of years ago when he would actively run away from us wherever we went

I think the hardest part is balancing what both my kids need, so one isn't always ignored, and trying not to put too much pressure to be grown up on my AD/HD child, while trying to understand what my autistic child needs, even if it doesn't make sense to me.

hi i am shell mum of six one with autism one with asperger one with traits one with lbd

welcome
