classical music/Motzart effect | Autism PDD

Do you all use this with your kids, it can help I have read.

We started modulated music therapy recently, where he listens to modulated CS's with special headphones that still allow him to hear other sounds in the room.  We haven't done any classical music yet, but I'm sure we will soon.  He has made some major progress in the past few months since we started, so I think it must be helping.  That said, I just read something on a website that said no studies have proven the benefits of modulated music, and that it can result in hearing loss, but I want to continue--I just always make sure the volume is fairly low.

I don't know if my response helps any.  I know I've seen some books listed at Amazon claiming that Mozart's music has "recovered" some children from autism, and that his music is similar somehow to sounds babies hear in the womb, but it seems a little strange to me.  I am looking forward to seeing if ds makes any great strides when we try the classical CS's, though.

I would love to hear if any parents have had sucess or noticed no changes when playing classical music frequently for their kids.

Best of luck we Did Tomais amd it helped just a little in Daniel. what's the name of the one your doing?
