You start by calling your School Board (in your district) and let them know that you need to have your child evaluated for whatever reasons.
I had the advantage of Skylar was already seeing a psychiatrist and he also recommended that he be evaluated. He told me to call the school board (early intervention) and ask for Sky to be evaluated. It was a long process, but let me tell you, it was more than worth it in the long run.

I read your state should pay for evaluations free of charge by a multidisiplinary team. Daniel never had this at all. He has only been seen by a psych and a neuropsych. This was under idea. This should allow for a plan with input from family. Who/were is that to get done?
