Anthony has been doing supervised playdates with his ABA therapists. We're very lucky because there are 4 kids his age on our block and all the parents have been more than happy to cooperate. I just received an email from one of the moms. She said that her son has had so much fun at these playdates so he wants to know if Anthony can come to his house and play!
Anthony has had playdates before but it's always the parents doing the arranging. This time it's the child who specifically wants Anthony to come over. YESSSSS!!!!!!
We are doing the same thing with our ABA therapists. We are making progress.
Kristy - I remember when your son had his first invitation (directly from the child's desire to play with him). How is that going? Have there been more playdates?
