Can anyone in Pennsylvania tell us the latest update on this case? Has it been totally thrown out or is the family persuing this further on a higher court level ?  It is absolutely appaling to say the least.

We live in a comunity that has wonderful recreation leagues for numerious sports. The best of their complexs is for baseball....And which group has the field with the best location  in the complex- the physically and mentally challenged kids! The teams are coached by parent volunteers and all parties involved have a blast.(We will have our son involved next year - when we feel he will be a bit more ready. We have regularly visited there since the fields were built to watch friends and neighbors play)Their program is run strickly on donations , so needless to say after reading this story , I will drastically increase mine to them.

that is so disgusting i have no words

If it were my child, that coach would have to pray the cops got to him before I did.  Oh the pain he would suffer at my hands...

I heard this on the news a while ago. i was so upset.... that could be any of our children out there..autism or not.  i wanted to hit him with a ball.I heard about this too on the news and it made me really sad and upset. You would think in this day and age people would have more sense or compassion, I guess that would be asking too much from society And everyone wonders why kids still pick on kids with disabilities, when they have adults like this as a role models, very sad.

Yes, I was utterly disgusted!  It's just so terrible.  I let my mom read it.  Now she knows why I'm so scared of putting Julian in Kindergarten!  I am trying not to be, but then I read this story!
