I need some ideas on how to help my son re-potty train. He has PDD, NOS and ADHD. He was on Focalin XR for over a year but developed panic attacks. We took him off the medication and all of a sudden he is having stool accidents again. Does anyone have this problem? Any Ideas?
There are certainly other members of the forum who are dealing with or have dealt with potty-training set-backs and even stool accidents (encopresis) in school kids. Have you mentioned this to the pediatrician and/or doctor who prescribed the Focalin? Can you give us some more details on your situation, for example your child's age?
In the meantime, here's my standard list of potty resources (ignore the yellow highlighting).
