Ok, Jonathan is 2.5 with PDD-NOS diagnosis. I currently have him recieving 2 hrs speech per week, 1 hr OT, and 20 hours of ABA therapy. Everything is going great, but he will turn 3 in November and my first IEP is in a month or so.
The preschool is a special education preschool but does not provide ABA therapy persay, but they provide discreet trial. Anyways, I want them to provide similar services that he is progressing on already. We are documenting his ABA data and can prove that this is the way he learns and progresses. Am I entitled to get at least 2 hrs speech , 1 OT, and at least 10 hrs of one-to-one therapy?
If that is to specific, I would love advice on what a typical PDD-NOS child who responds well to ABA (personal success stories on good IEP's would be great), on what I can get from the school district. I am hearing horror stories from some Moms in the area. Please help the school district to not take advantage of me. Thanks so much.
