All Cats Have Asperger’s | Autism PDD

I want a sample---can I see that somewhere?

I used to have cats growing up---but it's been many years---I'm trying to remember, lol.  I have been considering getting my DD a kitten for her bday.  Still trying to talk DH into it!

Amazon!

Emerald, a 4 your old should probably not have a kitten.  I was given one for my 6th bday and it really was not appropriate for me OR the kitten!

For one thing I thought I owned her, and of course SHE did not.  So  I was disappointed!

Even though my Mom took care of her ...

We tell our kids, it is not "your" pet.  Cats own THEMSELVES and we take care of them ... we are their family, but they own themselves!

Curious what others thought of this book and if their kids liked it?

My initial thought was a bit corny.  But then it also has a LOT of insights.  I ended up thinking it was a good book for kids of all ages!

All right it looks cute, I'm going to order it. My husband suspects that our
"Bella" has a lot of asd traits. I am still waiting for your book on floortime
interventions to help the asd cat.

Yes, I need to produce that BOOK!

Laxmi seems to have it ... every time I say, Bwa HAH! at her, off she runs, for dear life!

Anyhow, the book is good cat photography, even IF some of the poor dears are dressed up ... and GREAT captions, giving an empathetic view of some of our kids' behavioral manifestations.

Oh how true that is - especially with a cat! Our cat owns us I think! He is my dh's cat, even though he annoys the living daylights out of dh at times. But at other times, I seem him holding the cat like a baby and rocking him and saying, "Who's the good kitty? Who's the good kitty?"

I have heard good things about this book too - anyone else like it?
