My 4yr old son is recently on these two meds, for ADHD and Aspergers. Has anyone had a ngative reaction when these meds are given at the same time?We had Seroquel and Adderall, but not the Risperdal and Adderall...
Many people have good results here. We did not give these durring the same time. We did not get good results though.sorry, don't have experineceing with combining meds ( but my daughter is on Risperdal)....best of luck to you....No problem here with Adderall & Risperdol. However when the adderall wears off he has serious rebound hyperactivity.Sharlet started Risperdal 2 weeks ago. It's working great for us so far. She
is a little less social and verbal (she has no functional speech, but usually
labels quite a bit) and she has been drooling. These are the only side
effects we have seen so far.
Good Luck with it.Adam is on Abilify, (same kind of med as Risperdal) and Adderral. We have seen great things with these meds. At first we were not giving him his Adderral when he wasn't in school, but this summer we have been giving it to him everyday and it really helps with is impulsivness.
Jacob is on Risperdal and Strattera. He can't take stimulants--it makes his anxiety increase. He's been on risperdal for 2.5y. Strattera for 1 year. This combo for us is wonderful! No side effects.
My 11y is on risperdal and zoloft. She got the common side effect of risperdal ---weight gain. About 10-15 lbs. It was within the first month or so.
