The Dream Revealed | Autism PDD

Well, we definitely experience repetition and frustration, and it's hard to get a clear answer about what happened.  But his repetition is more circular than linear -- he comes back to key concepts and repeats them in a similar way, rather than starting at the beginning and repeating the same words like you described.

I'm glad your son is showing such great progress.

Sometimes, my son will stare right at something that he wants (and that he knows the word for) and repeat over and over  "That one........That one".   I prompt him to give me more words, but he gets nervous and stutters some and says "That one" again.   Other times he will say more descriptive words.   It breaks my heart to see him struggle so.

I am thrilled that your child could tell you about his dream.... that is great!
