jeeze, awsome, heh. I honestly did not really ask ppl what they thought until around middle school age. Just another problem since I had no access to theripy at the time maby i did not understand until l8r in life. Never really asked anybody how they felt about anything, did not care to listen to their respons unless it somehow had something to do with myself. Of course I had no problem talking about my dreams or what i did that day, coulda just cared less about how others were until l8r in life i suppose.
Im really starting to think that perhapse the theripy and whatnot avalible these days could really help many kids, often been thinkin how much different my life woulda been, or stuff i coulda avoided, problems, behavior, loosing friends, somewhat outcasted b4 high school... how much less that coulda all been had i had even some access. Itll really be interesting to see where everyones kids go 10-15 years in the future.I think it's fantastic that he is so interrested in YOU - what you dreamt, what you would wish for. You have every reason to be thrilled about this. Yeah for Anthony!Wow! That's great! I just posted about a similiar experience with my son about telling me about his dream. It's wonderful when you see good progress!
Anthony has been getting much better at his back and forth conversations but this blew me away. From time to time, he'll ask what I think about something - but we mostly talk about things that interest him.
Yesterday he asked me if we went to a wishing hole (I assume he meant wishing well) what would I wish for. I told him a million dollars. He laughed and then told me what he would wish for (which was some toy I can't remember now).
This morning after he woke up he asked me if I had any dreams last night. I told him I couldn't remember any. I could tell he was waiting for me to ask him which of course I asked if he had any dreams. He told me about his dream which was that I left Dominic at Target and then it closed. In the dream Anthony told me to break the glass door with a key so we could get him. LOL
This just seems huge to me. I mean, people do that all the time. You know, they'll ask someone else what their plans are for the weekend so they can have a chance to reciprocate. KWIM???
I don't know why but I'm really pumped about this.
