Go for FHA we we live in the countrey and only had to do 1900. down we saved tax returns checks in the bank account. MY doing! First time buyer also. We also have the place homesteaded also. We had a seperate account just for that.
buying a home when you have children with disabilities? My husband is the sole provider in our household, because it isn't easy to leave my kid with a daycare or relatives. I have worked p/t on his days off for years and if I could work fulltime it would be different (just impossible for us). We are looking at buying a home and are coming up short with a down payment. Seems like nothing is saved. I was hoping there was some program out there for people like us. Or does anyone have any advice or similar expierence?
