I know a lot of our kiddos here hand flap, and Jase has been no exception. But lately, he's started flapping (almost slapping, really) both of his entire arms, like he's trying to fly, except that he's slapping his thighs at the same time. He does it when he seems to be especially agitated, and I have seen him now modify his spinning to include widespread arms, whereas before, he would mostly keep his arms about waist high or straight down.
Anyone else's kid do this? It doesn't bother me, per se, I just found it a bit odd, and a bit concerning, since he seems to be upset while he's doing it. He generally flaps his hands when he's happy or excited, not upset. Maybe that's the difference?
