Hi Again.
As I said previously, Noah was diagnosed at two when I noticed he wasn't speaking at all. The typical response from his doctor, was that he was a boy and boys are slower. I knew something was wrong and insisted on a referell to early intervention and everything went real fast from there.
Noah started preschool that same year through a special ed facility in our county and continued all the way through kindergarten. It broke my heart to put a little two year old on a bus, but as it turned out, it was good for him.
Now, in two weeks, he will be entering third grade. He stays in the general ed room for art, PE, science, special class projects, etc, and goes to a special ed room for his core subjects such as reading, math, etc.
He has come a long way in the last 7 years. He now speaks ALOT(we can't keep him quiet) and is going through that phase of asking "WHY?" to everything we say or explain. Noah started reading and spelling in second grade and did wonderfully. We were thrilled (especially with the reading.)
I will save some stories/problems/accomplishments for answers to other posts. Everyone, have a nice evening.

Good morning to everyone.
I'm new here, just came across your site a few days ago and have been reading a lot of the posts. Noah is now 9 and was diagnosed at 2 w/mild to moderate autism. So many of your stories sound so familiar to our situation.
I'm glad I found this site!! Will return later to put my two cents in on some of the posts. Just wanted to say hi for now.
