GFCF diet | Autism PDD

What type of therapy is your child having? If it is ABA the behavior should be
targeted. My son is on the GFCF diet and I did not see a change in his
behaviors with the diet. Have you checked to see if your child could have
additional sensitivites such as soy? Have you introduced any new
supplements? Could it be that your childs therapy or programs are getting
harder so she is reacting to this as well. I know that there is another forum .
I personally have never posted there but they seem to be really
knowledgable about the gfcf diet.

I'm new to this forum, so please forgive me if I am posting in the wrong place, etc.  I have a 4 year old daughter Jordyn dx with ASD a little over a year ago.  We moved approx 8 weeks ago and she immediately started having problems with vomting/diarrhea at night primarily.  Jordyn has never been one to be bothered by much so it seemed she would get sick at the beginning of the night and then sleep and we would find everything dried and all over the walls, etc., in the morning.  Since then, we have placed her on the Gluten Free/Casein Free diet and her behavior has completely crashed!!!  She is concentrating much more in therapy and the vomiting is almost non-existent and the diarrhea is approx once a week BUT the behavior has just thrown us for a loop.  I've been told this is a GOOD sign..........if anyone has gone through this, could you please let me know.  I greatly appreciate any information you may have and any resources you can provide.  It's a definite process!!

Thanks so much!  Kali
