What a good idea!Great Idea really, but looks like it's a choking hazard so that's a no go for Brendon. He puts everything in his mouth. That's pretty neat. Our dd does so much better w/ visual cues, this may be
great for me to wear while we are out & stuff. Thanks for sharing,

Portacom systems makes a really simple storage thingy which you could
easily copy if you sew at all - it's basically a flap of sturdy felt, with a smooth
fabric backing that has a clear vinyl zippered pocket, and an adjustable belt
or shoulder strap attached to it. Worn on the shoulder, it looks somewhat
like a bookbag. Worn around the waist, it looksl ike an apron.
Ya know, Portacom and other visual systems are sooo expensive it's absurd.
I should really think about making them and selling them cheap - I resent
that families of special needs kids have to pay so much for necessities!I am going to make some of the "Schedule Card key rings"
Pecs bracelet does sound like a good idea for some kids. I'm actually
having trouble because Sharlet has so many cards in her folder that it's not
easy for her to carry around. I'm thinking she needs some way to attach
the folder to her body at child care so she can still play and use both hands.
Maybe some sort of harness/front pack or something. Anyone seen
anything like that before?
Forgot to mention that it's also available as a key chain, so it's definitely intended for moms to use too (and dads!)
This is good for mom to wear and show child pecs when communicating... great idea.
