Hi- does anyone have a sample social story that i could use to teach Ryan not to push other kids? Id love to be able to read it to him immediately prior to going someplace where kids will be. Hes not malicious in this- I believe its a sensory thing and that he likes the (negative) attention he gets from me after he does it. As much as Id like to ignore the behavior, its not "socially acceptable" for me to not address it around the other parents. thanks!
I finally tracked one down for you.

I have compiled a huge list of social stories I've tracked down online, and I've never found one for losing a loved one. Would it be okay if I added your site to my list (link below)? http://www.autism-pdd.net/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=14154&am p;KW=sample+social+stories im not sure hotlinking is allowed in msn groups but if your members need one if you email me i can make them and send them to you and you can pass them on love shell some social stories are better with the childs details and some wont need pics so its best to ask which is needed there are many out there some good some not so good but you can always adapt them to what you need or get a basic idea of what your doing. i make personal ones for my group which are not posted only the frely available ones are on view I don't want to break any MSN group rules, so maybe the best thing would be if you were willing to post a reply yourself under my Sample Social Stories topic, about whatever social stories you're willing to share and how our forum members can view them. Thanks. And welcome to the forum if I haven't said that already. THANKYOU YES JUST EMAIL ME AND ILL POST WHATEVER STORY YOU NEED OR JUST MY EMAIL ON YOUR THREAD BUT COULD YOU PLEASE SAY THEY HAVE COME FROM YOU. LOVE SHELL PLEASE GIVE ME A COUPLE DAYS TO MAKE SPECIAL ONES AND PLEASE INFORM PEOPLE IF THEY WANT IT PERSONALISING TO PLEASE EMAIL THE NAME AGE AND THE MAIN PROBLEM.
