Hi everyone

I wanted to say how much I enjoy seeing pictures of your little cuties!!!

I would love to show you pictures of my beautiful grandsom Devin, but I don't know how to

edited to add: you have to make sure the picture you upload is resized smaller or it wont paste:)

ShelleyR39288.8541898148After you have the picture listed on photobucket, copy the url underneath the picture (they have one now that has the [IMG] tags alraedy inserted -- I think it's the fourth box down under the picture). Then come back here and paste the URL in your post. Just make sure that the entire URL, including the http:// prompt, is enclosed within the [IMG] tags and your picture should appear.Don't feel bad nemobuhl, I had to have my dh teach me how to do it. I have the instructions written on a piece of paper on my desk so that I don't forget.  I'm going to have to explain the first part in 2 different sections..

If you have a digital camera (that you can take the pictures straight from the camera and put it on the computer), put your pictures on your computer in a spot that you will remember (Ideally, My Documents/My Pictures).

If you have a film camera, when you go to get your pictures developed also get a CD-rom of your pictures. Put your CD into your computer.

1. Go to www.photobucket.com and sign up for an account. After you're done, it should automatically put you on the "Upload" page.

2. "Browse" for the image you want.
    a. If you have a digital camera, ideally, it should be in My Documents > My Pictures
    b. If you have a CD-rom, it should be your "D:" drive.

3. Press the "Upload" button.

4. Click on "IMG code" for your selected picture. (This will automatically copy itself)

5. Come to these forums and press "Ctrl+V", and do as you normally do to post to the board.

Hope that wasn't too dumbed down.. But I wanted to make sure you knew how to get the pictures on the computer as well.
I posted asking how to do this too but no one answered. Melody your directions helped me alot, Im sure nemobuhl will like them too. I have a question, why is my picture so HUGE??That's the size photobucket sizes down to. If you want it to be smaller, "Edit" the picture. Then "Resize" and make it for "Web" usage..and it'll make it the size that's easy to use for websites. Hope that helps.
