Cool! I do like this idea a LOT!

One caveat ... our daycare was admant never to put a child's name on their shirt, as someone might use it to lure them off ... instead they put their phone number, in case the child was identified by good adults, as lost.

I know you are always with your kids when they are wearing these, so please consider this as a caution to other moms!

Where did you find the iron ons?

I made my sons Autism awareness Tshirts,they had them on yesterday at the Aquarium,They say there name,have a transfer of a Autism ribbon ,and My oldest sons has" Autism awareness" on the back.

They were only a few dollars to make,I mainly did it as a awareness thing ,but when my ds got overwhelmed and started to do alot of verbal stimming ,The People who started to stair,seen his shirt and nodded and smiled.WOW!! I don't get that reaction often

That is a great idea. So clever. I am glad it made people stop and think.

I think that a good idea, my DH has a walk to talk Autism T, he wears it a lot when we are taking our son out. Great idea!

They sell some really cool ones out there. I wished I had some when Shawn was younger. Now he just tells people he is autistic and be patient!
