Hi, I’m new....but feeling old | Autism PDD
Hi,
I'm the mother of a ten yr old boy, Paul, who (has autism--is autistic--is on the spectrum) however you say it, he is an awesome little boy who I've had going to speech, ot, dieticians, psychiatrists....you know the drill. I read different forums all the time but I've never joined. But I signed up tonight cuz i'm really, really tired. Too many years of too much drama. I'm single, I'm broke, I can't seem to get a job. Y'all have made me go through every emotion that those posters (you know the ones) have on them to teach how to id feelings.
Thanks for being the incrdedibly strong women you are. I feel a little less sorry for myself and a renewed sense of pride for my sweet Paul.

I'am a single mom of three two are autistic and i also am broke hard to find work with every thing going on with the children !! So you are not alone !!!!

Hi Pauls Mum,Welcome. I am soon to be single, broke and who can get a job when you could be called any time to collect your kid.
I have done the support group thing and it helped but I love that the board is here whenever I need it and no driving involved.
to you.hi, i'm new 2. i have a 4 year old w/ hfa/adhd, a 7 year old w/ add +????, and 2 teenagers in puberty, 2 in diapers, and a dh that thinks everything is my fault. i have a job, trying to keep everyone else sain, but it's making me crazy. prozac is my friend, and dr phil is my therapist.
