Great B-day party | Autism PDD

Thanks all.

Danyell glad to hear about Brett doing well. I think the fact that Nicky had 3 acres to run around made for less over stimulating, which really helped.

That is great

That made my heart swell!

Sounds like a blast for him with so much room to just run around!

CONGRATS!!

Yep that probaly helped.. I posted in the hang out page that i took Brett to his first Yankee game on Saturday and because we sat in the handicap place he had room to run around and not sit and that helped alot.. If he had to be contained to a seat it would have been over fast..

I just had to post about my best experience at a birthday party with Nick.

Our friends who live in western NJ had a B day party for their 7-year-old daughter last week. They live on 3 acres. They are great people and have great parties. Anyway, Our neighbors were gong to the party also. So of course their Nicky had to go with Nick and me. My dw was at her moms for a wedding. The boys played great. Most of the kids were girls, so the boys played together most of the day. The party was a couple of hours for the kids, then most of them left around 4:00, but friends of the family stayed much longer. I was SOOOOO happy Nicholas only had one melt down. The last hour or so he just played by himself, he had enough of his buddy by then. We were getting ready to leave around 7:30 and nick looks at me and says, this is the funniest house in the world. I was so glad it had worked out. My friends dw made it a point to come tell me how cute and well-behaved Nicholas was. It made my day.
