My son "stimming" at 20 months old | Autism PDD

No wonder I didn't believe them that he had PDD-NOS - LOOK how dang cute this kid was!! This was when a friend of mine took his picture with the digital camera - he just sent me the originals last night so I hadn't seen them in years! He was stimming all the time, of course, as a baby and so here are a few that it showed up in, and another one just because he was the cutest baby EVER I hope no one minds my shameless bragging!

P.S.- for those of you who don't know, my son does this arm hugging movement throughout the day since he was about 9 months old, and he is now 6 and a half. It has evolved into an arm hugging/ pacing' hand flapping movement now.Hope239283.9310648148Interesting to see the early pics of stimming...Looking back, my son was stimming within weeks or a few months after birth.  He kicked his feet almost constantly.  Once he could stand and walk the hand flapping started, but not to the same extent as the kicking...And he still kicks when he's sitting and excited!

SOOOO sweet,and still is.

Linda
